SAFETY STUDIES
BIOCON conducts safety studies in small animal models to assess vaccine, drug and biologics dose levels and activity. We provide custom designed studies to support IND submissions or CFR directed studies such as:
- General Safety, guinea pigs, mice
- Pyrogenicity, rabbits
- Adventitious Virus Testing, rabbits, guinea pigs, suckling mice
- LD 50 Determination
- Skin Sensitization, guinea pigs
- Skin Irritation, rabbits
- Ocular Irritation, rabbits
Our Quality Assurance Unit works with the GLP Study Director
to provide fully audited final reports to assist investigators in the
safety assessment of their compounds prior to human use.
